Ricky Rozay enlisted the help of Wiz Khalifa and Wale for his latest single “Retro SuperFuture II”. The song will be featured on Ashes to Ashes. Watch the video.
One fourth of rap group Slaughterhouse, Royce Da 5’9, confirmed that Eminem will executive produce most, if not all of the group’s new album. Royce said that their new boss sees a lot of potentially for the group to have commercial success and plans on taking their album to the next level. The group, which includes Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I, recently signed with Shady Records and will hopefully be dropping their new project soon. Snoop paid homage to his fallen best friend Nate Dogg by tattooing Nate’s face and the phrase “All Doggs go to Heaven” on his left forearm. The tat, which was done on Friday, was done by famous artist Mister Cartoon.RIP Nate Dogg.
Lil Wayne was recently interviewed by Paris Hilton for the April issue of Interview Magazine. During the interview a collaboration between the YMCMB superstar and Ms. Hilton seems to have been arranged. That would be an interesting song to say the least! Find out how the collab was brought up.

According to police, Rick Ross was busted last night for possession of marijuana in Shreveport, LA. Cops say they detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from his hotel room and when police investigated, they spotted approximately a gram of it in plain view. Ricky Rozay was in town to perform at a nightclub. According to TMZ, Ross was popped and released on a misdemeanor summons.

Snoop Dogg has created a charity to help support Nate Dogg’s family and to assist in paying the memorial fees. Snoop has assured everyone that 100% of the proceeds will be donated to his best friend’s family and children. To find out how you can donate to the Nate Dogg Memorial Fund.
Earlier today Chris Brown and his publicist Tammy Brook went their seperate ways. Some said she was fired others said she quit, either way she’s no longer working with Team Breezy. Tammy released a statement to TMZ to clear the air about how her departure really happened. Read her statement after the jump.
Juelz Santana told Mr. Peter Parker that fans can expect two solo mixtapes and a Skull Gang mixtape to be released before his next album. His long awaited Reagan Era mixtape is scheduled to drop after his studio reopens. I’m glad Juelz is going to be releasing new music, especially since he may be going to jail.

Sade has turned down numerous collaborations, including a recent offer by Drake, but has finally said yes to a certain rapper. The singer has avoided collaborations for years because it is outside of her comfort zone. Sade has teamed up with a rapper for a remix to her track “Moon & The Sky” off her May 3rd project.

While out at a club over the weekend, Swizzy and Dre took the stage and premiered an upcoming track off the highly anticipated “Detox” album.
Cops will not let Juelz live! This is the second time they’ve messed with him within the past few months…both times in which he seemingly was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. On Tuesday, Breezy held his album release party at Webster Hall. The IFWT team was in the building and we were told Juelz was coming through but although Waka Flocka, Bow Wow, Lloyd and Lloyd Banks all hit the stage…no L’z in sight! Now the NY Post informs us why! Weezy is prepping the Carter IV for a May 16th release…and he wants to make sure other rappers throw in the towel after this one drops. While talking to Rolling Stone magazine (who he allowed a special preview of the track “Wayne’s World” off the project), he said, ““There’s a lot of rapping on this. I want other rappers to hear it and say, ‘I quit. I better start making club songs.’” Pretty high expectations but after all…is IS Wayne. Rolling Stone calls the track, “three machine-gunning minutes of adenoidal wordplay topped with a triumphant hook.” Damn! Can’t wait to hear this one.

Mississippi “freshmen” Big KRIT got the crowd amped during his performance at SXSW over the weekend in the Allhiphop/Vibe/Cashmere showcase.
Over the weekend, Wyclef was treated at a hospital in Haiti after reportedly being shot in the hand while on a presidential campaign. However, police have come forward to address the incident and say he was merely cut with glass. Clef spoke with CNN to discuss the incident and the rumors surrounding it. Dipset recently reunited and took their act on tour. Their opening night was two days ago in Chicago. Cam, Jimmy, Juelz, Freeky and the gang were all their to light up the stage. Watch them perform “Dipset Anthem”.

A woman claims to have been sexually assaulted and held against her will at a Lil Wayne recording session. Wayne himself is not being held responsible but his producer Noel “Detail” Fisher is a different story. The woman was catering Fisher’s Pre-Grammy party at his residence which was a recording studio in Weezy was recording a few hits.
Lil Twist is gearing up to release his debut album “Don’t Get It Twisted” and he plans on getting help from his heavy hitting YMCMB family. His first video will feature cameo appearances from the bossman himself, Birdman, and Mack Maine. Twist told Boombox that Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne will be featured on his album which is due out this summer.
