Job Creation???

Ain't it funny that the Republicans claim that only the Private Sector" can create jobs, yet their critique du jour of Obama is that he has not created jobs? And now they are all fighting to spotlight THEIR job creations bill now that Obama is unveiling his. Make up you minds people. LOL What's worse is these politicians are running on their job creation success as politicians. LOL Something that should be a figment of their imaginations according to their own logic. What they fail to mention is that they created minimum wage or slightly better jobs while letting high paying jobs slip through their fingers and be exported over seas. Come talk to me when you are willing to admit government CAN create jobs and when the jobs that YOU create are jobs that families can actually survive on... In America!!!

Extending Unemployment Insurance???

The tea party and conservatives cannot have it both ways. They cannot say that the American public is tired of being out of work while at the same time claim that they won't extend unemployment insurance because the people have gotten lazy and would rather collect than work. If they are all just lazy and getting fat off the hog collecting, who are the people outraged they don't have jobs? Only unemployed people are pissed off about the unemployment rate, the rest of us are just concerned. It just doesn't make sense.

Republican Class Warfare

I can't say it any better than this. Finally someone has said in the public circle what I have been saying to my private circle (friends, family and address book cyber-friends) for the past few years.

Republicans claim they will protect Medicare and Social Security, but they want to reign in "Entitlements".

Republicans want to reduce taxes, but want to "Expand the Tax Base".

Vanilla Ices Denies Suge Held Him Over A Balcony, Says His Album Funded “The Chronic”

I’m sure you’ve all heard the story that surfaced back in the day about big, bad Suge Knight dangling poor Vanilla Ice over a balcony railing to force Ice to sign over some money to Suge. Well for those of you that do not know, when Ice shot to fame with his album The Extreme he signed a deal with Death Row CEO Suge Knight that would give Suge royalties from “Ice, Ice Baby” and in order for Suge to get Ice to sign over money he held him over a hotel balcony. Well fast-forward to 2011 Ice has now said nothing like that happened and Suge was a complete gentleman. I’m not too sure why someone would sign over royalties for their most popular song for no reason but who knows. Ice also said with the money Suge received from him he funded Dre’s classic, The Chronic, and the careers of Tupac and Snoop.

Debt Madness Was Always About Killing Social Security

Thursday 28 July 2011

by: Robert Scheer, Truthdig | Op-Ed
This phony debt crisis has now passed through the looking glass into the realm where madness reigns. What should have been an uneventful moment in which lawmakers make good on the nation's contractual obligations has instead been seized upon by Republican hypocrites as a moment to settle ideological scores that have nothing to do with the debt.

Ernie Paniccioli needs your help

Here is a bit of sad news.  Legendary Hip Hop photographer Ernie Paniccioli has cancer and over the next 5 weeks will be doing radiation therapy 5 days a week. He has already incurred medical bills over $40,000. If you could help promote this page in any way or give any amount regardless of how small, we would really appreciate it. Currently he has over 4 thousand friends on Facebook. If each person donated $10 we could raise 40k almost immediately. Please feel free to donate more, but if all you can donate is a couple dollars or even ONE dollar, that will help. Let's show Ernie that Hip Hop takes care of its own!
