Queen Latifah is producing a new show on VH1 called “Single Ladies” that will star Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy, and Charity Shea. Latifah recently revealed details about the upcoming show and wish lady will play which roll.
New details have been revealed regarding Queen Latifah’s new TV show “Single Ladies,” which stars Stacey Dash and LisaRaye McCoy. The show revolves around three friends and is a comedic drama is being produced by Latifah and her longtime business partner Shakim Compere. The show was picked up by VH1 months ago and Latifah is sharing some facts about the project.
“My partner Shakim Compere and I are excited our production company Flavor Unit is working with VH1 on their first venture into the hour-long scripted series genre,” Queen Latifah said. “‘Single Ladies’ is a sexy and smart show–something that we feel TV has been missing for far too long and we knew VH1 was the perfect home for it.”
Dash is a fashion mogul, LisaRaye is a former video girl and April, played by Charity Shea, is in a failing marriage.
