Down The Road Again: Interview with Drake's Father

Gotta send some love to my Pops. Donald Shebib. The man who taught me how be critical of my craft. How to strive for excellence as an artist and in life.
Hes working on his new film, a sequel to his legendary Canadian Classic "Goin' Down The Road". Tonight is his last night of shooting, and i wanted to wish him luck.
This is an exerpt from a recent interview. Reminds me where i came from.
Q: Knowing that the original had such an impact on Canadian cinema in a way that, presumably, you couldn’t have anticipated—
A: Oh I had no idea.

TOP 5 DEAD OR ALIVE according to Slim Thug By Niki Gatewood
By now, you know the deal. Slim Thug gives AllHipHop.con his faves, who and why.
AllHipHop.com: Please, let me know which MCs compose your Top 5 Dead Or Alive.
Slim Thug: Top 5 Dead Or Alive—Tupac!
TUPAC
AllHipHop.com: Why Tupac?
Slim Thug: Tupac, his music is so meaningful; you know what I’m saying. With him, it wasn’t just about music. He had so much feeling in everything he did. That’s like, my favorite rapper of all time; that’s Tupac!
AllHipHop.com: Do you have a favorite verse or favorite album?
Slim Thug: I don’t know; I can’t even pick one. I hate to pick one, but I like Makaveli[The Don Kiluminati: The 7 Day Theory]. I love Makaveli; that is my s***! But, I don’t want to just pick one, because I listen to all his music. I got a playlist, I went from Dallas all the way here [Tulsa, OK] listening to nothing but Tupac songs. My birthday is on September eighth, he got shot on September seventh [1996], and he died on the thirteenth. So, during that week I was going out, but it wasn’t too much ‘Pac related. But, you know, I’m always listening to his music and putting s*** on Twitter, showing respect.
AllHipHop.com: After ‘Pac, who’s next?

(Photos) The Next Page of Jay-Z’s Book to Decode is Big Pimpin Lyrics…in a Pool
Jigga is releasing a book, Decoded, and teamed up with Bing to create a world-wide scavenger hunt in order to promote his book, which hits stores November 16. The pages of the book have been placed all over the world and need to be “decoded”. Five to 10 new pages from the book will be unveiled in new locations each day, in 15 cities around the world. He has a major event with Bing going on right now in Miami and my girl Aubrey is over there and sent this picture of what the next page to decode is. She also said a man from London is at the party and he decoded one of the first pages. People who decode them right win various prizes, including autographed copies of the book and a chance to see Jay and Coldplay in Vegas on New Years Eve.
