T.I. Won’t Be Charged in L.A. Drug Arrest…But He Got Dropped From Remy Martin Cognac

Gotta take the good with the bad, huh? Today TMZ reported the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the drug case from his arrest for posession of a controlled substance with his wife Tiny last month.
The D.A.’s office noted he has already been sentenced to 11 months in prison in an Atlanta court for violating his parole so there was no need to sentence him again. There apparently are some legal problems with the case as well.
Cops claimed they smelled marijuana but no pot was ever booked into evidence. And, T.I. was pulled out of his $250,000 Maybach immediately after he made the illegal U-turn and prior to any registration check.
Now onto the not-so-good news. Tip was named the spokesperson for cognac company Remy Martin just a few months back but in the wake of his legal woes, Rap Radar reports that the company has dropped TI. Second company to drop him in a week!
A spokesperson for Remy Martin told Rap Radar:
Sometimes the “road to redemption” is a difficult path. Regrettably, we will not be able to continue collaborating with T.I. at this time. We wish T.I. well and hope he will devote his time and energy to staying the course.
Well you win some, you lose some! T.I. will be turning himself in November 1st to begin his 11 month sentence.
