Via MTV Rap Fix (words by Chris Yuscavage)
Thought this was an interesting read! Does your favorite song for your city/state make the cut?? (Mine doesn’t…Jersey doesn’t really have one…do we???)
RapFix came up with a list of some of their favorite hometown anthems. Like [Wiz Khalifa's] “Black & Yellow,” [an homage to the Steelers' black and yellow colors in Wiz's hometown of Pittsburgh] these are the types of rap songs that make us feel right at home.

Inspectah Deck Dead???
At the BET Cypha at the Hip-Hop Awards, the first one they aired, after Raekwon spit, he said "Yo, stop the music Premier, yo rest in peace my brother from the Wu, Inspectah Deck........." Seems no one payed attention after that, most likely in shock from what they just heard. If they would have continued to listen they would have heard him say... "His old Earth, Ms. Jason Hunter..."
Thats how rumors get started. LOL Next thing you know everyone talking 'bout Deck is dead. Deck is very alive, it was his mother who passed away a little ways back.
Bottom line... All rumor!!!

Kat Stacks interview in HHW
I just read an interview with Kat Stacks in Hip Hop Weekly. That is some story, I feel sorry for her. Growing up in Brooklyn I have seen way more than my share of girls just like her. Quite a gripping tale.
Hip Hop Slang files: "That's so Gay, No Homo"
We hear dudes on the street say things like this all the time. I have often wondered why? You don't like his shirt so you say "that shirt is gay". Does it look like a shirt that a gay guy would wear? Most of the time it does not. Did a gay celebrity rock it on TV or in a movie? Probably not. So why is it gay?
